I got the idea for this while listening to the Gorillaz. I do little sketches like this from time to time but don't generally feel the need to do a colored drawing out of it. However, I liked the feel of this in my head, though I didn't quite capture it on paper. Don't mind the silly hair.
Not 100% on which category best suits this drawing... It's a little bit of a lot of things, so "Other" will have to do, I guess.
edit* I looked at this while using one of the computers at school and the little pencil marks from the paper beneath it (since I scanned the sketch without removing the paper from my sketchbook) and minor edits I made before uploading were CLEARLY visible, though I didn't see them on my home computer. I edited the image a little so that hopefully those little marks won't be too noticeable on less bright screens anymore.
This is so stunning. I love the anatomy, her slender neck, how her shoulders form a heart shape and her beautiful bone structure. Her hair style is fabulous too- such a lovely colour to use!
Yeah, it's been a sort of dry few months. ^^ Trying to get back in the swing of things by posting stuff I have done in the last few months...if you check you'll see I did this drawing in late 2008, too. I have a commission I did for a friend I've been meaning to post as well...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
